MG Midget advertisement (1973)
I still say MG and Vauxhall had the best marketing departments in automotive history, whenever they felt like it. The “Your mother wouldn’t like it” series for Midget has to be one of my favorites. I couldn’t think of anything even remotely better to convince me to buy one of these. Even in 2011.
Altough I’m fairly certain my mother would enjoy this. That’s how poweful these ads still are.
Her eyes say yes, her body says I’m photoshopped to bland perfection…
